North Bay Audio Tour: Muir Beach / Redwood Creek Restoration
Last Fall, the National Park Service along with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy began to restore Redwood Creek at Muir Beach. The project is in progress and visitors will notice many changes over the coming seasons and years. The restoration seeks to improve water flow, remove non-native species, benefit Coho salmon, the red-legged frog and other wildlife and will increase public access in the surrounding area. Listen to these educational audio programs before or after a visit and stay tuned as we add new chapters in the months ahead.
